THERMAL INSULATION

New Zealand studies have shown that thermal insulation delivers improved comfort and health for house occupants and/or reduced energy bills by reducing heat loss. Do not save money on insulation, the higher the R-value the greater the savings will be to your heating & cooling costs overtime.

What does "R-value" Mean? 

R-value is a measure of resistance to heat flow through a given thickness of material. R-value is important, it's just one of four key factors that determine the effectiveness of an insulation material. The higher the R-Value the better it is.

ACOUSTIC INSULATION

Premier Acoustic Insulation has been created to maximise sound to control reverberation and airborne noise in commercial and residential application. Our acoustic blankets are ideal for use in offices, retail developments, swimming pools and auditoriums and residential intertenancy walls.

The acoustic results were completed by Auckland University (Auckland UniServices Limited). The NRC tests were tested in accordance to ISO 354. Test results are available on request. STC testing were done using 90mm x 45mm timber studs nailed at 600mm centres R2.2 Premier Insulation and a single layer of 10mm Gib in accordance to ISO 140-3. Premier Insulation is an acceptable solution for reducing noise in terms of the New Zealand Building Code compliance AS/NZS 4859.1 so can be specified with confidence.
